NEW MARKETS TAX CREDITS (NMTC)

BBIF supports NMTC projects located in economically distressed, high-minority population areas based on job creation, job quality, job accessibility, the impact the project will have on the local community, and its alignment with the community’s development priorities. These projects must demonstrate that they will improve the quality of life for current residents.
NEW MARKET TAX CREDIT LOAN POOL
About the NMTC Loan Pool- BBIF utilizes a portion of its NMTC allocations to create loan pools that invest in minority-owned businesses bringing cheaper capital to create stronger minority businesses.
