Vice President, Finance

Oraine Reid, VP of Finance, joined the BBIF team in 2004. Oraine Reid, holds a Bachelor and a Master Business Administration in Accounting. Oraine is currently working on his CPA and has over 11 years accounting experience. Serving as a senior team leader, Mr. Reid is responsible for overseeing the accounting department which consist of cash management, oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll, bank reconciliation functions, invoicing, establishing and executing internal controls. Other responsibilities include but not limited to preparing financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, compliance and financial projections. 

Mr. Reid also coordinates with the external CPA and Auditor the preparation of the company tax returns, quarterly financial compilation, annual audits and manages all aspects of the organization’s information technology. In addition, Mr. Reid also oversees loan management activities, which consists of reviewing payments posted to client’s accounts, verification that checks were deposited and monitoring delinquent clients. Prior to joining BBIF Mr. Reid worked with New York City Department of Finance and Phipps Houses Services, Inc. in their accounting department alongside the Deputy CFO. Mr. Reid also served as a board member of “Unity in Uniform ” which helps minorities youth through education, mentorship and support and adults seeking careers in Emergency Services and Allied Health professions.
